Hello there peeps! :) Guess it has become some sort of a habit now that I always sum up my year in my blog post. 2014 has really been a big great year with so many happenings I don't even know where to start from. It all begin with the end of my 11 years of public school then the nerve wrecking months of waiting for SPM results. Everything happened so fast it doesn't even make sense that things actually happened for only a year. I felt like I have gone through several years in 2014. HAHA. Any of you feel the same?? This year I've went through so many things... Whether it's happy or sad things that I've went through, I can be very sure that I've learnt the most this year. I've went through interviews, took a part time job, met so many new people, tried so many new things, learned so many things, had my first flight, had a terrible pimple breakout that I've never experienced T.T and even overcome some of my fears. It was a great year indeed. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has made my 2014 year an awesome one. 

Hello everyone!

Can't believe it has been five months since I blogged.  Well, life's kinda boring and constantly filled with busy college schedule everyday ever since 2nd sem started.  Now, I am here wasting a bit of my time to keep my blog updated. So how's everyone doing so far? I hope you guys are having a great life.  Guess what, it just hit me that its already November and 2014 is coming to an end soon. VERY SOON... Yeah, so let that sink in a little bit.  Can't believe how fast time flies. D': Not to be surprise with how fast a year is passing by, I still can't seem to grasp the whole idea that I am about to finish my 2nd sem in next few weeks. I haven't even make full use of this sem and barely know all my classmates this semester and the next thing I know is some seniors are leaving after this sem. :( Of course the worse thing about this is the fact that finals is coming up... real soon... Feels like a huge truck is coming in my way to kill me. Sigh. I just wish I was born a genius or something! Then, I wouldn't have to worry much about studying. It has been such a tiring semester with all the workload, I am glad my brain didn't explode. Surprisingly. Guess I will just have to hang in there a little while. Anyways, stop all the rants on my boring life and college. I was browsing through my favorite website, the INCIDENTAL COMICS and I found some new comic drawings! So, I thought about sharing one of it that I like a lot which is Outside The Box.

  
  Don't this comic seems somehow inspiring to us?  I am pretty sure everyone have been told or at least heard about how we should always be more creative and ' Think out of the box'. Well, this comic has definitely show us that its not always about thinking outside the box. Instead, we can do all the thinking everywhere and anywhere.
   I somehow manage to relate the box in this comic to our life.  Most people in the world tends to do the thinking outside of the box because it is what we are told to do. Just like how we are told how to live our life, we let people guide our life. But in fact, we can do so much more than just looking outside of the box to think. The box is ours. Instead of following what others do, we can change a little bit of our views and think further ahead and be more creative!  Its such a big box that we are able to do so many things to it. Whether we want to make it colourful inside out, whether we want to change the shape of it, or take the risks to open up the box and figure out the surprises it might brings. This is what life (or in this case, the box) can bring us. If we are unhappy about it we can be creative and paint it with the things we love, the colours we want to have in our box. We can change the shape of it, try out new things.  We shouldn't be afraid of the mystery the box have, instead take risks, challenges, face the fear and open up the box. We never know what the changes in life can bring to us if we don't change it and try out new things. Think like a pirate! Do you really think if a pirate found a treasure box he's just going to carry it home and not open it beforehand to see whats in it? He will have to open it to see if there are gold or expensive things in it.  What if he didn't open the treasure box, brought it home and found it to be filled with.. I don't know... skeletons?? Same goes to the box (your life), if you don't open it what would you know what it brings? A gold, diamond or just dusts? How will you know?
  Besides, open up the box, if you are bored of it, find new things and new functions of the box. That's what makes life interesting. Are you really going to stay in your box for 100 years without changing it. What if the box was drenched by rain water and it is crumbling down? Once you throw it away, you might lose everything and find no meaning to it. But, you only have one box! So, if you throw it, what will you be left with? The box should be reconstruct, with new design, new materials to make a better function of it. Maybe before this it gets all wet and breaks apart, reconstruct and make it waterproof! This means move on with your life, always upgrade it, change it, find meaningful new things to do with your life.
  When we face any problem, solve the problem. Just like how you would try to solve a rubrics cube. Even taking out the colored stickers of the squares on the rubrics cube and pasting it again to form a perfect solved cube is a way. Do anything logical and possible to solve the riddles of life.  Another thing, people should learn to push their limits.  Bring life to another place, at a higher level and experience something new. To breathe in new air above the ground.  Also, go beyond the box, beyond your life, think of all possibilities and forms of life. Think of it in many shapes and sizes because its your life. How you shape it, mould it, push it, colour it, it will be your one and only box, your one and only life. Do whatever you want with it, grow with your box and that's how you become creative. That's when you can think not only out of the box but anywhere you want, in, out, top, bottom.

So basically, for the past few months, many things happened. SPM results were out, scholarship applications etc etc.. and since the past month I've enrolled to a University. I went through so many interviews since the day I stepped into Uni and before I got the chance to even be in the Uni which was crazyyyyyy! But then again, I guess if I have never gone through any interview, I wouldn't have got the chance to go into uni or even become an intake representative and student facilitator. Not to forget also to meet all my new family members. Yup, I went to university's orientation day as a loner and only knew some of my friends there  but they were all in other intakes. Now, I've a big family including a penguin and a cat. Haha. I don't really mean that I have a penguin its just that my new friends each have a position in this "family" and one of them is a penguin.

First week of Uni was indeed so much rushing! Right after the orientation day we started learning calculus early in the morning. " Welcome to College Life " man! And in the next few weeks of studying we had our assignments.  Not to forget we had quizzes on the 4th week and the marks are all taken into account. Yeahp, things have been growing crazily fast these days. However, I've got to say I am enjoying my life so much right now minus all the examinations, assignments etc. The next great thing that happened recently would be meeting Azura Zainal! I was so happy and so glad for the opportunity to get to interview her for my assignment. I had  a really nice time with her and even manage to get selfies and got my copy of Azura Zainal's Guide to TV and Radio Hosting signed.

About College Life

 Basically, college life isn't like those in the movies or tv shows that you guys always watch. Everything seems pretty normal. You will meet lots of people from everywhere , having all kinds of attitudes and interests. Don't even need to worry about not having friends because everyone would be all loners and in the end you'll fit into the group that you fit in . haha. Lecturers are more considerate and helpful in college, at the same time, they are all strict in your work. Do take note of that. Problems with college life would probably be peer pressure and what to wear everyday. YES ! That's such a big problem for girls! WHAT TO WEAR? I've cracked my head every single day of this haha. Maybe it's just me, but who would want to look like you just came out of the garbage dump right? Other than all these, food would probably be fine . With the fact that you can eat anytime you have breaks in between your classes or in the class if the lecturers allow.. and that would be all?

I can't wait for many more great days.

Okay, I don't really know what to say anymore. Haha. This is such a boring post ! I am sorry! :( I should probably get back to work and think of a better post for next time. I promiseeeeee! Till then... Goodbye !

Hello everyone ! As promised , I've said before I will post a guide for new tumblr users who are totally lost since I've been receiving tons and tons of questions on it. Now , now, don't feel offended on the word "dummies" because I admit that I myself was a dummy on tumblr too. So, sit back, relax and learn simple things to be a pro in tumblr and change the word dummy to smarty. Actually, blogging on tumblr is as easy as ABC! The only problem with it is, its a little bit confusing for beginners. I was idle for 3 years plus on tumblr because I couldn't quite understand the mechanism of tumblr. But now, everyday I'll post till I reach my daily limit and that is 250 posts a day. Thats a lot! I'll make this whole guide simple by working on it step by step.

1. Sign Up
So,before you would want to be blogging on tumblr the very first thing is to SIGN UP. Duh, that's pretty easy right? Tumblr registration is simple: You only need an email address, password and username. Also beware that considering the amount of existing blogs on Tumblr, it's possible that you won't get your first choice of username. The username will also be use as the url of the blog . Do take note. But don't worry, you can always change the URL anytime in settings.

2. Customizing The Blog
Next thing you would want to do will be creating the type of blog you like and how it will look like. This is where the THEME that is the overall layout of your blog comes in. Tumblr gives a wide range of free themes to choose from . All you need to do is click the customize bar on the right side of your dashboard and you will be directed to a page that has a left side bar saying customize and you will see the BROWSE THEMES bar. Click on that, click the drop down menu and look for free themes. There, you choose the theme that you like and use it and voila. Your blog will look like how you want it. If you are a pro with html you can also choose themes outside of the one given by tumblr or make your own. If you plan on using other than tumblr's theme , all you need to do is google up 'tumblr themes' and you will find websites that provide free themes and even tutorials.

You would also like to change cursors or add little things like maybe glowing quotes etc , you can check them out at Dollie Crave . They offer wide range of tumblr things from themes to even scroll bars!

3. Posting
Now that you have a blog, you want to post something on it. But before that, look up for some blogs to follow! On your dashboard the right bar will have a 'find blog' tab just click and look up for blogs that you want to follow and just click the follow button. Follow as many as you like then you will have more variety of things you want to and can reblog. Reblogs will all be posted into your blog page. For a guide I screenshot my own dashboard to show you guys the meaning of buttons on your dashboard. That'll ease my explanations.

Besides getting source to reblog from tumblr you can also sign up at weheartit to get sources (pictures and gif) from there.

4. Stay Connected With People
You already have a blog, you've been posting and you've been following. Now all you need is to gain those followers. Make friends with tumblr bloggers. Join in events such as promos to gain followers. One of the way you can connect with people is by visiting their blog and go to their inbox , an ask or a mail button ( can be find in their page on the top right or just hover over any of their description you will find one ) and ask questions, be friends . Be friendly but not annoying. Don't go around and spam and ask people to follow you back. Most of the bloggers will not do so. If your blog is to their liking, they will follow you. Instead you can ask them to check out your blog if they want to .
Lastly, send a fanmail to your favourite bloggers and be friends with them! (some blogs don't want to receive fanmails or any inbox so this feature won't work. You won't find any mail buttons on their blog or tumblr would notify you when you want to send a fanmail)


TIPS

• Update! - make an effort to constantly update your blog by reblogging things and posting. No one wants to follow a dead blog!
• Connect with people - if people messages you , be nice and reply. Don't be a snob!
• No plagiarising - if you are using a theme from somewhere else or photos from other websites, always include the owner! no one likes a stealer!
• Be polite - most tumblr bloggers I see are really polite and nice. So be nice ! Make friends and don't be a bitch.
• Ignore haters - some people just can't seem to be satisfied with other people. If you receive messages in your inbox on hating , just ignore. Its nothing. Especially if they are anons. Just make sure you are not the rude one and becareful on what you post!
• Follow people! - don't just grow your followers but not following back!

Hello there readers! So, as you guys know I am not the type of girl who gets the chance to go anywhere I want and by that I include even going out to the malls nearby my house to hangout or travel. Yes, this whole 2 months plus of holiday have definitely drive me crazy! And if YOU are facing the same problem as me , probably already starting to stare at a blank wall and have gone through same routine of waking up, eat and sleep every single second of your life... Many people have asked me how the hell I survive my 17 years and 2 months of life staying at home all the time during holidays and let me tell you, this is no easy job. Its the worst ever kind of holiday you will experience. Throughout those years, I have complained as much as I can to my parents but its not really helping anyway. I still do it once in awhile now when I feel like I am going crazy staying at home but now, most of the time, I have figured out ways and things to keep me sane in this square ( or rectangular? ) brick of walls I live in. Let me list down one by one all the things that anyone can do while at home ! :D

1. Learn Something New

I know this sound clique but its really the right thing to do and this is like the perfect time to learn. Its where you can be all focus in doing something and obviously no one will disturb you. Learn to draw or maybe learn to knit or you can learn to make a keychain like I did :D Besides that, with the presence of internet, you can learn anything without even paying for classes. That's the whole point of doing things at home.

Today, this blogpost is just going to be a really short and very brief post. I am very sure every person who is celebrating the Chinese New Year had the best time of their life bloating themselves during the "Tuan Yuan Fan" (团圆饭）moment with family members. How or what you guys had for the dinner does not matter. What I hope is everyone had a great time spending with their family and you should be really blessed that you get to eat together.

Anyways, like I said, this is going to be a really really reallllllyyy short post, so I am here to wish everyone who is celebrating the Chinese New Year a Gong Xi Fa Chai （恭喜发财）and a great and prosperous Chinese New  Year. Lets throw away the 红包拿来 "Hong Bao Na Lai" (Give me the angpao) phrase and I hope everyone (that's not married yet) collect many Ang Pao's and make a good use of that money . For those who are traveling far , I wish you all a safe trip to your destination. Remember guys , slow is always better as long as you are safe! To end this post, I hope all of you will have a good time this Chinese New Year and dress as red hot as you want to be ! Lastly, may all your wishes come true this Horse Year. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (is that how you write a horse sound? )

So, its just another late night post ! Yes, it does seem like I don't sleep at night huh? I am an owl :P
Anyways , so.. like I said on the post before this, I did lots of work on thinking how to make my blog more alive and definitely had loads of ideas (maybe not LOADS but I did have a few in mind) and this is one of it! Before hand, I would like to say that this blogpost is not meant to hurt anyones feeling or offence anyone by any means. If I did, I would like to first apologise.
So, why is it I choose this topic. Such a weird topic to be on the blog right? Well, I know now in this modern age, Internet is something we probably couldn't live without. For me and also most of the people on earth. Back then when it was sort off like a stone age, people barely use the internet. But now, almost every house hold has them and no matter how much you can't afford it, there is all the free wifi every where right now. And then there is the birth of the social media networks like the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Youtube and so on... Well, its not like we did not have such stuff before this. It just wasn't as viral as now. We used to have MySpace and Friendster , also we had Windows Live Messenger and the Formspring. But back then, not everyone had those social media like right now. So, is it really good to have an account on all  these social media right now? For today, I try my best not to be a huge hypocrite in discussing this topic because I definitely do have accounts on almost all the social media network. But, do you guys know, there are still lots of people wondering if they should be making a Facebook account or  a Twitter account or maybe an Instagram account? Well, if you guys didn't know there's such people, let me tell you, I personally know some people who do not have a single social media account. A great big example would be my mum. HAHA. And I don't know if she'll be reading this post but I love you :P.  Anyways, lets go straight to the point and go through the pros and cons in all the pretty famous social media network we have these days and lets make a conclusion out of it shall we?

CANDIDATE NO.1 : MR. FACEBOOK
The first I am going to bring out is this Facebook . It was probably the most viral social media back in the year 2007 if I am not mistaken and until now it is still used by many users. Is it really a must to have a Facebook account? Well, I am very sure that almost 90% of the people on earth knows the existence of Facebook and many is using them despite being too young or old. Well, to me there are a few good thing in having a Facebook account and also the downside of it.

Pros
Facebook is probably the largest social media network where you can stay contact with anyone that is not near you or also near you like for example your family members. To me, I find it really useful sometimes , yeah SOMETIMES take note of that. By that sometimes I mean by talking or knowing things about your old friends or maybe people who you know that you can't keep up with everyday like maybe one of your bestfriends who has gone to study aboard. Besides that, having a group page was also very useful, since you will get latest news about anything to do with the community you join or even shopping websites .  This was really useful to me back in my school years where I get lots of news on homework or what books to bring even exam tips on the page.

Cons
This is the downside to having a Facebook account. As you guys know, we can freely add anyone and choose to accept anyone or ignore a friend request but do many of you really filter your friend request? Like recently, I went to clear up and refresh my facebook account and check my friend lists one by one and also albums, I was so shock to find that I had a few weirdo's on my friend lists. I immediately unfriend them. I thought so long on who they were cause some of them had really pedophile pictures I suppose? And since I am a girl and a teenager , befriending weird old mans on facebook that I don't know is just scary. We have to always know that being in the social media, we are expose to the world as much as possible and we are not even 100% sure that people we befriend on the social media are trustable or even real human. I mean of course they are human, they can't be ghost! But what I am saying/writing is, are they really that old friend you used to know? Being in the social media is also being behind a computer screen. Don't know if you understand me, but we don't know if the owners of any account are really under them or not and if we did know, humans are still humans, we can't read minds. So, we never know any new friend we make, what are their real intentions. As you all may know, there are really many cases before this on the harm of love on facebook and even money scams and so on... What I see nowadays, there are really so many people who neglect on this filtering friends section and the importance of it. I am not here to control your life in who you want to choose to be your friends on facebook but what I am trying to say is , If you are trying to make a penpal for an example. Do make sure that whatever you are going to post as a status or an album or pictures are safe for your own privacy .  With so many features on Facebook for security it is not something hard to do. Also, do take note that whatever you post should be safe for the world, by that I mean, there really shouldn't be anything that could hurt a person's feelings by any means. Whether its racism or looks or anything. I know people who used to make hatred page for certain someone just because they dislike them. Do you know how terrible such thing can do to someone? It could even take away a person's life and I never know what people feel by doing that. Do they feel accomplishment or satisfactory that someone they hate are being hated too? Or those rude comments on a Facebook wall or anything. In the end, people get hurt and there is just no joy in it. And by this is what I mean misusing the social media. To hurt someone , to put a revenge or what so ever. There are people who just don't care on what they put on the social media like their Handphone Number and Address. Then they wonder why they get in trouble  later. Do I really need to further explain on this? Really? Cause there's really nothing much to explain on letting the whole world know how to contact you or prank call you or maybe where to kidnap you..

The next thing and one of my most hated thing on facebook is probably the language that people use. As if abbreviations for words like btw,OTL,OMG all these are not enough, there are just some malaysians who likes to type in malay like this --> awk ngat sko oah tuk... I don't even know what language is that and  do people really understand what are you writing? I don't know. It could be some code language among people but seriously.. must we disgrace our own Bahasa Melayu to that stage? I am not saying that we cannot use short forms for our BM languange but simple one and understandable ones would do. For example, sayang to syg or tengah to tgh... something like that. Why do we need to type aqwehksuytcklzuelwio like that?!

CANDIDATE NO.2 : MS. TWITTER
Twitter is a social media most used by teenagers these days. There's really nothing to say about the twitter. I think its the most versatile one. You can talk to your friends all day and get updates on them. Yeah, even if they are peeing. Not because there is a tracking system in this social media but more like manual updates, live tweets from the owner of the account. On the downside of it is probably too much tweeting cause of addiction and lack of time to concentrate on studies happen. I was there before, I know how hard it was to stop using twitter to study for my SPM until I get used to it. It was sort off like drugs ! Well, you can just write about anything on it and throw your emotions on it. But some people take it too seriously with the vulgar words sometimes and some, they take other people's tweets to seriously and start making arguments on it. Well, that's the only downside about it. There's not really a need to put your handphone number down or anything on twitter so there really isn't much bad things about it. Except for one thing, there are people who tweet really irrelevant stuff.

CANDIDATE NO.3 YOUTUBE MAN
To talk about YouTube, its not such a bad thing to have on the internet. I mean if you don't have a TV and only the Internet, Youtube can be a TV for you! The only bad thing about it is that there are some people who do not utilise it well. For example, making videos that are really not useful not even for laugh and making themselves a laughing stock. There was once a case on the sore eyes girl video and people make parodies out of it and I do not want to mock anyone on this blogpost but well, you just have to be careful on what type of videos you want to upload. Make it something entertaining to watch for someone or useful like tutorials or since vlogs are famous you can do that too but please just one thing.. Be careful on what you upload. That's all I can say. There was also a video I came across , where Noah Yap did a parody of skyping with some kids that must have posted videos to their 'haters' , and all I see is that the kids were saying F*** You like I don't know how many times and they are kids, KIDS! I don't get the point on posting such a video, you get what I mean?

CANDIDATE NO.4 & NO.5 BLOG WOMEN AND TUMBLR GIRL
This 2 social media networks are about the same , so I just grouped them into one. Lets start with blog. Should you have a blog or not? Well, for me, what I really think is , having a blog is pretty good as long as you post relevant stuff. It could also be your everyday diary if you want to. There are people who post and hides it for themselves and there are people who would post about their personal life a little bit like mine and still let others see it. Some writes stories like its a novel in their blogs. I think having a blog is pretty neat and you can even improve your writing skills as a bonus. But then.... there are still some people who would choose to write topics a little bit sensitive but this all depends on the writer themselves. I have no say in this.

As for tumblr, I think its what most teenage girls and especially photographers love. Tumblr blogs speaks your mind with their quotes and beautiful pictures. I don't think there is anything bad on having a tumblr account. It could be a little bit confusing for the newbies but trust me you will definitely get used to it. I was once there so I know the whole confusion on what do you do in tumblr and so I might even start on a new blogpost after this on " TUMBLR FOR NOOBIES ". Because I have really a lot of people asking me about it.

And here comes to the conclusion of whether should you or we be on the social media network or not! My conclusion sums up to that, "the social media network brings no harm to any living thing but the thing that is harmful about it is how we, humans utilise it." If you do not have any of the above social media network and you plan to get one, what I can say is just be careful on everything you do on it. We have a mind of our own and we know how to think what is right and what is wrong. So, if you think posting a status or writing your real birthdate for the world to see is safe for you and everyone around you then go ahead. Learn the security measures like choosing who gets to see your album on the internet. If you think you would like to make a new friend then go ahead. All I can say is just be careful, be careful and be careful. Be wise and make sure you know what you are doing. Think first then do. Many people have retreat from social media because of mistakes they had done before by not thinking hard first and I am sure you won't want to be attacked or be a laughing stock to the world.

Before I end this post, again, I would like to apologise if I did hurt some of your feelings by my words or if you think I went a little overboard, please do not feel offended as I was just speaking out my mind. I am truly sorry.
