2016 has been a crazy hectic year... Too many things happened and I don't know if I would call it a good year or a bad year... There is no in between neither is there a proper extreme end. Out of the many things that 2016 has taught me and given me... the biggest lesson I have learned is to always place yourself first. No matter how much you love your family, your friends, your love one, etc etc as the list goes on... they can come after you. You are the no.1 priority in that whole long list of yours. I know it sounds selfish but I have learned that, whatever you do, you are the one who will make yourself happy, carry yourself through the tough times, and heal yourself. Because, in the end, everyone leaves. Whether it is your parents, your siblings etc. Everyone leaves when the right time comes or even when the time doesn't seem to be the right time for them to leave, but eventually, you will be alone to deal with your own life and bring yourself up every time after a down. Also, don't forget that, everyone else you do not put as first also deals the things in life the same way as you. We are born to help each other out, but you also need to learn to help yourself. If you know how to put yourself first, you will also know how to prioritize others and care for others the same way you care for yourself. So, rather than selfish, it is actually a win-win situation. As long as putting yourself first brings no harm, is moderately done, and is good, I do believe that it is beneficial not only for you but also those around you. So, for the year 2017 and on, I have learned to put myself first, care for myself first, and love myself first, before I give all my heart to others. Especially when there are those whom might never learn to appreciate you, because they too never appreciated themselves...

All in all, I am wishing all a better year ahead although this post is a little early for that, but dear people on earth, love yourself and strive to be a better you. All of us are unique and if we can't love ourselves, who will?
